The dream maker map format uses text "keys" to store each unique instance of something. How many of these instances can exist?

There might not be a limit since the number of characters used just increases depending on the number of unique instances there are.

I thought I remember reading about a limit, which may have been 65535? I dunno...I'm pretty sure it's not 256 however, so maybe expixel is right
