As the proud and esteeming owner of Colossal Gaming, I come with humble inquisition of my BYOND people. Does anybody know of any console game's worth checking out in the sense that it deserved a sequel but was never officially delivered? It is by great honor and pride that I delegate the honor of doing so to myself as my initiation in glory by continuing a profound title of somebody else.

Perhaps you shouldn't be making fan-games if you're not familiar with the source material. I'd say you would be doing the games a great disservice.
|
Indeed I would be. By providing them a disservice, I am providing myself as with BYOND a service. It's for the best that I credit myself with the concepts of others much like Ultimatum did with Wesnoth; nothing but for our benefit may I accomplish such.

A lot of comic book creators get employed by attracting attention by making their own impressions of characters in stardom. By stealing from somebody creditably, you are making yourself more famous, obviously Nick Simmons didn't understand this philosophy, and that it's being applied here.
So my people of BYOND, do you know of any profound console games that deserved a sequel? |
There's already a sequal to Superman 64; it's called Superman Returns for the PS2. You could also consider most football games sequels of each other too.
E.T. sounds like a good game. |

Big Bird's Egg Catch for Atari Sesame Street is endorsed by PBS Kids, and PBS Kids endorses that annoying asinine show Word Girl. No thank you. EnigmaticGallivanter wrote: ... That's arleady what I had in mind. |

Herve Caen actually signed a paper over to Electronic Arts explicitly giving them permissions to continue off of the Superman 64 game engine. In a sense, it is a sequel because it uses the same engine as its predecessor. Actually, Superman Returns was originally intended to be based off of Superman 64's plot, but the circumstances of there being a movie being produced, they changed it to that movie. That's why it was a movie game and a very good one at that. |
It's not a sequel.
A lot of games use the Unreal Engine, they are not all sequels, prequels, or related in anyway. |
The engine's built specifically for Superman, and also it was initially planned to be a sequel, the only thing that diverted that was the fact that the movie was coming out. Your argument isn't per say, because they're not chronologically newer versions of Unreal.

Or have you not played another Football game? You're getting awfully close to insulting Tecmo Superbowl 3, and I'm not going to stand for that. You're on thin ice. |
Alright, I've had to clean up a bunch of posts from a variety of users (and moderators) here, for a mixture of roving off topic, and in a few cases, just plain old making fun of OP for their chosen writing style.
I'm not particularly impressed at having to do this, particularly in a topic that could have a lot of good gaming discussion. Please keep things on topic. |
