Hey all! Tikey (Mega fart cannon) here.

As you may know, me and Kagi Omiya are working on our Pokemon project, Pokemon Hiyusha. This is a project that we are 100% dedicated to do, and we intend to follow through with that. Since I don't really have much to say right now, I'll keep this short.

Some announcements:
  • The game is coming along smoothly with the expected progress creeps. It's almost in a near playable state (by playable, I mean about 6-7 hours of test content so far) and we expect to get some testing done in the summer. I can't promise an exact date yet, but keep an eye out for another announcement in the near future.

  • I would like to introduce KING VAIDRO X. He's a very experienced member who used to work on Pokemon Bayshue and is now part of the Pokemon Hiyusha Team! His awesome pixel art skills and mapping creativity will definitely bring a fresh and new appealing look to Pokemon Hiyusha that will set the bar for future Pokemon games on BYOND. Welcome to the team!


With that being said, here are some screenshots of Pokemon Hiyusha. Like in Kagi's last blog post, the screenshots will not showcase any overworld content at all. We would like to keep that a surprise. :)

Is all that interface? Or screen objs/HUDs? The only complaint (not so much a complaint, just me being fussy? xD) I have is Bulbasaur's Battle Moves... The window seems cut off, possibly because of no border on the top or left of the Battle Moves window...

Also, are you planning on the making chat/info/announcements at the bottom pop out? So people can close, resize and move them around however they like?

None of it is made using interface controls. It's all made within the screen of the game. However, we don't use client.screen at all to achieve this.

That's just how it comes out when you move the DS touch screen to the right. I can quickly add a border to that and other screens if it becomes a bother to players.

That's possible. I'll look into it.
All of that, and you're still using a statpanel. C'mon.
I hope by stat panel you mean the in game HUD. Since all those tabs you see there are just chat related.
