something similar to that that pisses me off... when teachers ask you the meaning of a novel, and say why do u believe the author wrote this, what was his purpose, what was the point he was trying to make...? (maybe i could understand if this was a persuasive essay, but its a frikkin novel.) and they start listing off all these philosophical examples. but they never once mention... maybe to make some fuckin money???
