If you live in america, odds are you've heard about the impending government shutdown. Hell, maybe even outside of america for all I know. Anyway, it's frustrating that those infants in Washington are willing to let millions go unpaid just to spite each other. Military personal, government workers, etc, all just left hanging. But of course, the oh so deserving congressmen wont miss a check if the shutdown actually happens.

Even worse, if the republican budget is approved, the rich get even more tax cuts, and corporate taxes are lowered even further, when already any corporation with a legal team pays zero dollars in taxes because of loopholes and offshore bank accounts. This is a blatant re-allocation of wealth to the rich, and an obvious attack on the middle class and poor. If the people dont rise up and say enough, we will soon be working like slaves our whole lives in corporate housing.

I'm just so fed up with politics these days. Even if this has nothing to do with byond, I just have to vent. If anyone else wants to share their perspective, feel free.
