Hello again, everyone. I know its been a while since I've posted, but I thought I'd bring up yet another topic.

Rumors. Some of you might be wondering 'Why this topic?', well I assure you there's a point. I've learned, as of recent, that I have apparently died. This is false, just another rumor spread by someone who hasn't taken the time to get their facts straight.

I haven't been able to be as active everywhere due to an increase in my workload.
Now, to continue on with more important things.

Have you ever had a rumor spread about you? Vicious, uncaring, or just plain stupid? Normally people think of this as just high school teens doing what teens do best. Gossip. Quite contrarily, 'Rumors' and 'Gossip' extend throughout ones own lifespan. We don't just suddenly cease speaking among friends at the age of twenty, or even fifty.

Gossiping goes well on into our grander years, and I doubt there will be an age where it will just cease to be.

I suppose my point is, the next time you go talking about someone behind their back--Friendly chatter or not, be careful and think about what you say. The slightest misspoken word can lead to catastrophic results for the person in question.

And for those who bought into that silly rumor, OoOOoOoOooOooooo~ I'm a Ghoooost~
Really, people. I have a pager and I'm on it every day.

Yeah. Gossip runs rampant. That's why websites like Myspace, Twitter and Facebook and cell phones are in astronomical demand. Because people love to talk about absolutely nothing.
To think, all of this could be solved if people would learn to be decisive about what they say and enjoy a conversation, rather than just spew an extreme amount of inconsistencies and dribble.
Very good point, Empirez.
The best quote I could add to this, in my opinion. "High School Never Ends." And I'm glad to hear that you try keep out of the loop, Lige. It eventually turns to drama, which will likely be my next topic. Breaching that, trying to stay out of the loop can cause just as much drama unfortunately, but it's the safer route. I sure hope that nobody has spread rumors about you, that would be awful.
This font, is too distracting for me to read.
Sorry about that, Harper. But it's what I prefer. :P As I said a couple of blogs ago, and I am now amending, when I'm unlazy enough I'll add a secondary .css for users who cant stand the font.

As for that humor, Lige likes to hug teddy bears D<!!! I know, I saw it!
xD
Here where I live nobody uses Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, or anything. People do have smart phones, however. Back on topic, I have never had a rumor spread about me or even seen rumors spread about other people.
Well, Duelmaster, you seem to be fairly lucky in that department. Rumors kill people--Yes, it's an over dramatization that in some cases actually proves to be true. It can kill physically, mentally, and emotionally.

It depends on the rumor, the situation (Such as who is involved, the location (IE: Home, Work, School), how it was spread, as well as likely credibility) and how the person feels and/or reacts to hearing the rumor.
Some can push it off, others kind of egg it on by over reacting, which is unfortunate.

Back on my original response, I envy you for living in a place with a lack of rumors.
Dead? People are ridiculous~.
Yeppers. Rumors involving Darwin are very common :c
Oh no not the creator of Pokemon! What would we do without him?! </sarcasm>

I am a known spreader of rumors and gossip where I live. And if any are spread about me, I normally go along with them because it's fun. Sure sure, I murder Thai hookers.
If I'm talking about someone behind their back, there's a pretty good chance I probably don't like them anyway.
Lol, most rumors about me are quite weird, but always relate to the same thing.

I really dislike rumors in all honesty, it's how some people may feel about you, but they won't tell you it face to face, and you know me, I love brutal honesty.

Kudos - Ieuanm
