BYOND.exe using too much CPU?

So, my computer has been lagging recently when BYOND.exe was open.

When I opened the task manager to see the CPU usage, it clearly said BYOND.exe, 50-62%. I -never- expected it to be so high.

Seems kinda crazy for such a small software to be straining my system so much. It might be just me, but I'm not sure.

I have had it where Byond drained my Cpu nearly 100% before lol, this was a while ago, and is currently fine with me, but i don't think it's just you.

please tell what processor you have.

il tell you what to do, reinstall the program, restart computer then run it as an admin.

or you could check out the size of the cache file for byond(in my documents)

if it is extreamly big, delete it.
