I followed the hosting guide on the portforward site, I did EVERYTHING it asked me to, my firewall allows BYOND, Dreamseeker and Dreamdaemon, I made sure I used the port that I forwarded (I had to pick a random port I think), I tried putting my pager port on the same port as the port that I tried to host on (didn't work because it was already taken by my pager) and I didn't forget to save. I also entered the last number in my ipconfig of the 192.168.1.1 linksys router thingy, NOTHING WORKS! It always shows the stupid red message! Help!?

I'm having the same problem as SuperToby12, I did EVERYTHING the portforward site told me to. It was working at first, as in, it said the page was accessible through the hub, but my friend couldn't join...

All it said for me is that players aren't able to join it with the red text bullcrap, and it didn't say ''SuperToby12 is hosting!'' on my pager. |
@argos498 try getting a few other friends to try and join
if that dosnt work mess with your firewall and antivirus settings @supertoby12 its a problem with your port forwarding, likely a firewall or anti-virus blocking it, turn off all of the antivirus's on your computer(if you have 2 i reccomend deleting one as anti-virus's conflict alot unless they are made to be ran together) and then turn off your firewall(control panel > firewall > turn off) and then try hosting, when it an connects to you then that means your portforwarding and the signal is getting through and back if either of you are still having problems post your internet specs(modem type / internet provider dont post your ip unless you want people to be able to access your internet :P) |

Hi SuperToby12,
Are you behind two or more devices (Such as having a non-wireless modem connected to a wireless router)? If so, you may have to set up your router as a "wireless access point" (Refer to the owner's manual for instructions on how to do this.) Then conduct the port-forwarding modifications on the modem instead of the router. Good luck! |

We have 2 connections. Our interne- THAT'S IT! Our provider also has a network to connect to. Hold on, I'll try to switch my network to my provider one and see if it works. |
