With a few projects under my belt, I now move to the next step: a game.
My coding and programming skills have grown immensely since the first time I cracked open the Dream Maker. Now, finally, I am confident enough in my abilities to begin a serious project with hopes of being featured.
I'm looking for a group of dedicated individuals to assist me in the development of a single player world. I can do 90% of the coding alone, however I am looking for a crew to bounce ideas around and learn from. My lackluster pixel art abilities are the biggest issue at the moment.
If anybody would like to throw their name in and lend a hand as a part of a development team, either reply to this post or email me at [email protected]!
I do require examples of your original work for obvious reasons.. thanks for reading!

I'm sorry and I do not want to discourage anyone, but how can you make a game if you don't know how to make extremely simple things like that?

Just something I haven't sat down to learn yet. I've been reading the DM guide and coding little projects for months. Libraries and resources libraries and resources over and over.
I've never been much the artist, but it isn't that I can't make them, they're just not that good. :P |
I am in fact. I have two projects I am currently working on. One is a little more of a long term project; the other is something I should be able to get out in a few weeks.
Both are going well. I'm still learning alot and reading through whatever resources I can get my hands on. An intelligent lady once told me years ago: "Part of being smart is being resourceful." If you think about it for a second, that's very good advice to anyone. |

Working with an artist is fine, but working with another programmer introduces a lot of problems. As long as you're willing to learn, you might as well write all the code yourself and use the developer forum or post on your blog for help if you need it.

Sometimes two different programmers can be of equal skill level but know different things and techniques. Thus, everyone is exposed to new ways of thinking and broadening their knowledge in the process. That was my ambitious hopes. |
