Heights, camera rotations, and more Today I sorted out a simple height system. Its all in effect and seems to be working. For now. There was also adding in the camera rotations, which was easier than i ever thought it would be. I added in "dark turfs" to cover the flat surfaces of turfs that were on the edge. I was going to make it black, but then you cant see the sides, and its a bit weird. So i stuck with a VERY dark grey. Had a bit of a problem getting them to match with the camera rotations, but its all sorted now. I now have 6 test mobs on the test map: 3 squires, 3 knights. Reason being: knights have a greater range stat than squires, and i wanted to make sure it worked out fine. Also sorted out a deletion issue with the highlights for movement. Just for the record, the single tile in the 3rd screenshot IS supposed to be there. Thats it for today. Considering i only had two hours to work with, I consider that a decent amount of work. :3 --Darkoro |
