Thats quite the assumption youve got there. But you couldnt be more incorrect.

It's a Dragon Ball game, so I assume you've just thrown together bits of code from different games. Yes, it's a epic Zeta Rip. Seriously? Not All Dragon Ball Z Games haves codes from other games. |

Mkay, if you just wanted to rant instead of debating about your opinions I'll go ahead and unsubscribe from the comment thread. Is that supposed to be a threat? Someone has a tremendous case of unwarranted self importance. Doesn't help that your first reply repeatedly assumed that he was talking specifically about your game. |
Exoduster, son. Unsubscribing could hardly be considered a threat, nor do I think Antx would "threaten" anything, it's not his thing.

It's still a bit arrogant to think the comment was directed at his game. It seems more like the OP was saying that unless you're willing and able to create a solid action game, stick with doing what BYOND does best. I don't necessarily agree with how it was originally phrased, but I do agree that certain types of games have technical challenges that RPG- type games don't have. It doesn't sound like it was directed at any particular game. If the phrase "trying to shoehorn an action game" reminds SuperAntx of his own game, maybe he agrees on some level. |

I am talking about games like Hazordhu and FFO, where the maps are large and the movement speeds are crippling and pointless. Somehow, I just knew you were talking about FFO after reading your original post... Most people see the strategic aspect of FFO's custom movement system, even if that means you can't fly around as fast as you would in the typical Zeta rip. |
While SAx may have been a bit arrogant, he brought up good points. The OP does not fully know what he is talking about (actually knows very little, I would say, about what he is talking about), and SAx pointed out some of the flaws. Which is interesting, because in responding, the OP contradicted himself and made himself look like an idiot.
