There are a couple of things to remember if YOU want to not look like an idiot on YouTube:

1) Begging your viewers constantly to "rate, subscribe, comment" makes you look like an asshole beggar. You'll only lower your chances of your videos getting any attention.

2) If you're going to post gameplay videos, don't couple it with music if you're not certain if the music you want to use is not the best piece of audio ever made. This is because people have their own tastes, and when you post shitty music on your videos you just make us vomit.

3) You are not going to get known on YouTube by asking people to get you known. If you want to get known, post some GOOD content and people will find your videos, share those videos with their friends, and naturally you gain popularity.
