Hello community. I was just wondering where i would go to begin learning pixel art/iconing! I really love art and video games and plan to go to full sail for game art. But since im still in school i decided ill start out with pixel art! So i appreciate anyone that can point me in the right direction.(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum) - TasteTheRainbow2

You don't need to go to a university to get the skill set for game art. It's ALL a matter of practice you can't BUY skills. You have to EARN them through PRACTICE everyday. Go to find the basic elements and principles of art and design. That's what you really need as they will apply to most pieces of art. Save your money. Save your time. Get familiar with Blender3D, Wings3D, Unity3D(game engine), Gimp, Adobe Software, Autodesk software, Zbrush, Sculptris; 2D and 3D design concepts. Try posting your creations to pixeljoint.com, and gameartisans.org. And here of course; this is what this section is partially for.
