before I start with todays "blog" post about the game progress I'd like to say a few words:

It's interesting to see that I actually got some Fans for this project, so thumbs up for that.
On the other hand, I see that the
"yea" and "nay" system is beeing abused by several people. Yes, you can now SEE who voted and what...and those who voted are actually people who go around voting nay on pretty much anything in the blogs just to make other projects look stupid apparently.

Oh well, hopefully BYOND will remove that "feature" of my site soon. At least I already contacted the support about that.

Now to the game or rather the map.
Yesterday I told you guys I wouldn't have that much time to do stuff but since I finished my university stuff pretty quick today, I was able to work on the map.

And of course I don't want you guys to miss that important step.

Anyway, yesterday you saw the *cough* Canada *cough*-ish map from the Naruto Anime and I told you guys I'd try to model that map as good as possible.

So without further redue, here's my first rough cut:



Important: What you see there, is the mini map browser on DM's map creation. Those are actually 610.000 Turfs

As I said first cut . I know that some stuff is still a bit odd, but the rough proportions are alright.

Now back to some statistics.
As I said, this map is 1000x610 Turfs.
Come to think of it, that's 610.000 Turfs of free space a user could walk on (well, minus the once that are dense).

Let's say a user COULD walk 8 Turfs a second, he'd take:


=> 76520 Seconds
=> ~1271 Minutes
=> ~21.2 hours


Of straight walking and without lag, to have been on each turf of this huge ass map.
