Almost a year ago, I said I was contemplating returning. Now it's official. I've decided that I've been too lazy with my programming, and as such I should sharpen my programming on something I've known since I started.

I still have the source for SJ, SJ:II, SJ:II:R, and GE. Provided someone is willing to host for me, I can bring SJ and SJ:II back to life. I can also work in SJ:II:R, or GE, but I may just work on something new. It would be a good idea to start on something new to fill the area of "sharpening my skills". If I do, it will definitely be a Turn-Based RPG.

I've had some good ideas come up recently for a BYOND-based game. So I may start up a new project and possibly return to SJ:II:R at some point.

Regardless, starting next wee I intend on becoming a BYOND Member once again. Once that happens, be sure to look for updates, as I intend on being updated and open about whatever I'm doing this time around.

Hey Polantaris,

So I see these updates every year or so, and always get excited, and always disappointed. Anyway, I must say that at this point I'm not holding out hope for SJ:II:R or GE anytime soon. But if you're still looking for someone to host SJ, my machine may be available. Let me know.

I am looking to host SJ because it was a great game, I used to host it when I could still find the host files around here somewhere but I think the links dried up or their not where I would look for them at.

The only thing i've hated at slime journey is like the time travel part to the skeletons or what not & having that one skeleton that's better than the rest, that's really annoying but other than that I loved this game.
Pro tip to deal with the uber skeleton: lose a single fight with him. From now on, he'll be the only one not walking around. As long as you remember that, you won't make the same mistake again.
