Myriad

by Oasiscircle

MyriadMyriad is a turn-based dungeon crawler developed by Oasiscircle in a 24 period on November 17th, 2012. It features simple and addictive gameplay, as well as random dungeon generation; no two games are the same.

The graphics, drawn by Oasiscircle, are very minimalistic and utilize a three colour palette. The low fidelity music matches the aesthetic very well, invoking a very retro feel. Oasiscircle created the sound effects himself and purchased the music from audiojungle.

It is a single player game, but you can compete with other players via the leaderboard. Your score rises as explore the map and kill major targets, which are represented on the map as a skull and crossbones.

At present the game is close to completed, with Oasiscircle verifying that new monsters and items are on the way, as well as the ability to save and load.

I would like the staff of BYOND to make this online game be able to be played on Windows 8, I just got it yesterday, and I never played BYOND in a year, since my brother accidentally broken the internet slot on our desktop computer, so that is my request and suggestion for all of you people thanks :P
It should be playable on Windows 8.
Just not the Windows RT/8 they have for their Surface tablets.
