I don't really know exactly what people are thinking will happen with the anime games, they will not vanish.

Ok Anime games will not appear on the front page as featured as far as i'm aware.

Which may not sound great if you want to advertise your game, but also the anime have their own copyrights so we don't want to go advertising them too much.

But anyway the search system has been fully improved and games will be able to be found threw the Anime tag on the right hand side of the front page.

As long as your games original then it will be able to appear here with no problem.

Here the list of anime games should all show up together nicely in one category with nice and original games.

Also look forward to the new site coming soon-ish in a beta type format where you can give suggestions hopefully lol :P
Thanks for clarifying this for the lynch-mob that is the BYOND community.

Wow. Lol why deleted it?

His original post was made at the private development site of BYOND, and anyone who received the pager alert couldn't click it ;p
Teka has been a big help to us by testing and organizing some of these games (that I won't touch with a 10 foot pole). We'll take this site live very soon (probably tomorrow, but maybe tonight) and keep it in a public beta to collect user feedback. I hope the majority are happy with the changes-- the response to the previews has been positive-- as they've delayed our software work for far too long.
Mitadeke high is an anime?
Yes i think Dakumonki.

Well, i can't wait to see it. :P good work on the site.
So what is going to happen to the rating system of "rip or not"? and if it is not being removed, how will it fit into the new BYOND website setup?

I think all hubs should be removed.
Well, i'm not the guy that can answer but i think it will be removed. Since, no rips = useless command.

Right?
Will be the site down for some minutes until it's uploaded or what?

Also, any change in the byond hub?
We will be more aggressive with rips by reviewing games as they are submitted. Since you have to be a member to submit a game (non-members can still have hubs that they can advertise themselves), the volume won't be too big to handle. We'll need people like Teka to help us decide what is list-worthy. Eventually we'd like to come up with a way for the community as a whole to keep us informed, but that is trickier.
I can help (?)

But well, it's a good thing. Finally a list with original games. Omg!
I am okay with this.
Yes, it will be a good improvement for the BYOND Community, giving it respect of the outside communitys.
Still fills a bit wrong, Avatar honestly doesn't count as Anime, Neither does a few other shows, I think Anime wouldn't be the best word to use for that category.

Well, I am a BYOND member. Who or where would I have to submit my game to? And what exactly is the criteria for games being accepted and not being accepted? Oh, I do not own or run and anime game, but I do own and run a fan game and all the same, I would like to know this information as a member and as a game developer. (It should probably be made public as well and not just on the blog)

Higurashi no Naki Koro Ni was an inspiration, no doubt.

Whaaaaaaa, so Anime is that popular, we minds well make a nicktoons tag as well. All fan made games should be marked as fan made, Anime isn't that special.
Those stars better end up yellow/gold as per my request :P Tan stars are just creepy.
