NEStalgia promotional website online

Although I've been MIA lately I've still been plugging away at NEStalgia promotional stuff when I've had time. My latest accomplishment is the completion of the website that I'm going to use to market NEStalgia outside of BYOND. I'm still not planning to start my marketing push just yet, but hopefully laying the groundwork will pay off when I do.

There are a few loose ends here and there that I need to address (ex: the "Quick Installer" doesn't currently work because guest keys aren't allowed into NEStalgia yet). I've tested the site on a million different machines and browsers, but if for some reason the formatting is messed up for you then please let me know in the comments.

As usual, Spiff did his magic behind the scenes and wrote the php for the external hub list on the Live Games page. I don't know what we'd do without him!

Anyway, I figured that this bread crumb would tide some of you over for awhile until I'm back in full force to work on things. Progress is still being made, albeit slowly ;)

Also, the PHP script appears to output a bit weird in Chrome.

I'm using chrome and they appear that same way for me as well.

Though, I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the PHP script, and not what the browser is outputting.

The Live Games tab works fine in Firefox, but I tested it in IE as well and the same problem Flame Sage reported occurred. Instead of the bulletin points it shows &bull. Overall it looks nice though; very professional.

Having two items in the main menu lead to other sites with no link back could be confusing. I don't know what to do with the forum, but perhaps the Wiki should contain a link to the NEStalgia website in the bottom menu.

Also, it might be beneficial to pull news items from this blog. My main problem with BYOND game sites outside BYOND.com is that they look inactive and amount to glorified CSS changes. NEStalgia has activity and I think you should show it.

I've been going back and forth about whether or not to do this. Like you mention, my fear is actually looking inactive by incorporating feeds like this blog that sometimes go through dry spells. Perhaps you're right though... I'll play around with it.

It basically just parses out the info from the text format of the hub page:

Should be fixed now, thanks to Spiff. Let me know if you guys have any other issues with viewing it.
