"We must expect to fail...but fail in a learning posture, determined no to repeat the mistakes, and to maximize the benefits from what is learned in the process." - Ted W. Engstrom

Some of you might have came across a post a while ago asking the community of BYOND to critique my pixel art, though it was not very good, I decided to try once more. Whenever I make pixel art, the first try is always crap, then the second try gets better, so I repeat this process until it's the best it can be. Here is the second try. Yes i know the legs are a bit bow legged, but I decided not to remove it because if I do I'd be removing the "Zamura" touch! Also the side state is not finished, but feel free to critique what i have so far.

Edit: Added little ears, better?
Edit: Added a longer neck

Which legs are better, these, or the old one.
Great body! But the head reminds me of this beetle juice movie from when I was younger.

How can there be a good way? I'm sacred to death of that base.

The bad way meaning "That thing is so ugly it just makes me want to rip my eyes out." The good way meaning "That base looks so fierce, that I almost shit myself because i thought it was going to kill me"

Check the edit guys.
It doesn't have a neck.

Edit: Added one the length of one pixel to the neck
I didn't think you were supposed to see the neck in 3/4 perspective. I recommend trying to get some C&C from pixeljoint because most likely all you'll get from a BYOND blogpost is amateur criticism(or trolling) like what I and the others have posted here.

^ That and thank you, but that involves creating an account. That's just a bit to much work for me.

Don't deny the missing neck Zamura, you keep deleting the comments about this, it looks like the head sits on top of his shoulders. And on the sides it looks like hes tilting over, and no one would like standing like that.

I'm not deleting the missing neck thing because I'm avoiding it, it's just redundant. If you check, Caution's ORIGINAL comment is still there. Also The "tilt" added definition to the legs. I'm not deleting this because this is an actual piece of criticism.
The body shading is good. Give him a little neck though slightly.

The side view is leaning a bit too much imo, so just push him back a bit. Otherwise it's great.
your base is trying too hard to be realistic. I don't know why people try to make ultra-realistic bases before they even have a game.

See, if I wan't a pixel artist, and I didn't know what I was doing, I would heed your warning. I have made 2 cartoon-ish bases before this one for the game I'm working on, and I have had better results with this one.
The new one.

Why did you never attempt a girl base before?

What does that have to do with anything?
new legs are better and the neck to long trust me...
