Using my new pixeling skills, I plan on creating a new anime game. (yes another anime)

It's basically a anime mix.

I wanna put together a team to make a Mass amount of anime games. Using the same Base for each of them.


Naruto

HunterxHunter

etc.


How I want it is, basically, when You join the game Your gonna be forwarded to this screen where your the base icon. There will be this map where theres doors.

The doors will have the names of either anime and you just walk inside of the door.

A screen would pop up and say "Welcome to [Anime Name] World! Would You like to Load a Character or Create a new one?"

Create New - and you'll be transported to the character creation screen.

Load - and your save will just re open from where you last saved.


--It makes a fun Single player concept. because, In the default room, everyone will be there, you can chat it up, Make parties, Do task together, get money.

-Pvp is toggle only (Unless you enter a certain map, in which you have no choice which to fight and destroy anything you see.

Shinobi Online Part:

My intentions for this game would require some real skill and imagination.

Base states will include:

- Fat base for Akimichi and If you eat too much.
--Basically i wanted this to add that realistic feel. There isn't a game that has this yet.

- Shadow system for Nara's.
-- Shadow is controled by your mouse. When you use your shadow it will at first be out of your control. More uses will eventually allow better control with it. When you first use a mastered shadow, you basically click the direction you want it to trail. Once you capture your opponent, you would be able to move and control their movements using the directional pad. (Of course using this excessivly would drain your chakra like hell.) You can use this to throw weapons at your eniemy, Set a kunai trap, and take them there...then detonate it. (Like what Shikimaru did to Hidan.) Again, another completely original idea.

- Fighting stances depending on your fighting styles (Meaning if you learn Lee fighting style, everytime your char is attacked or attack, you're base will enter that state. Same with Hyuuga, Basic fighting stance too.)
--Hyuuga's will always have gentle fist activated.
--Learning Lee's style taijutsu, gives a varry of attacks, and give you a taijutsu damage boost. (Taijutsu has to be your most trained stat.)

- Complex Battle system, made sure that its skill oriented.

- States for just about every action. Sleep, Idle state, eating.

- Clans will have a complex system.

- Unfortunatly, I wan't things like Sand Users, and Paper Users Random amongst Basic ninja.
-- Just know if you'd become a non-clan ninja that you would possible be able to use one of these combat styles. I havent yet though of how I want it. (Maybe when you enter "Near-Death phase" right before being hit with that last blow, sand pops up and protects you. or, your skin turns to paper rendering you unable to take damage, and unable to deal damage for 10 seconds. (An excape tactic.)

- Doujutsu will be activated by hidden requirements, they will also grow and get stronger with hidden requirements.

- A complex aging system where you base icon, and the entire way you operate will show.
--When first made you'll be


There will be more. Just laying out things you should see in Alpha testing, when that happends.

This is basically what I have in a notepad file. (Got to lazy to type it all again.)

Definitely sounds original. Jussst like what happened with Shikamaru and Hidan.

Meh, doesn't matter much. Im a pixel artist, not very good when it comes to explaining things. Like I stated in this blog it was a brainstorm I typed up in notepad.

I just C&P'd it. Thought, it would be a good idea to get some supporters.

Either way you dont like it. I garentee art wise it'll be satisfying.

You need to get out of that mentality; art isn't everything. Some of the best games in the world (Dwarf Fortress!) are shitty in terms of graphical representation, GUI, and otherwise presentation. But they play a hell of a lot better than most other games.

Also, complex battle system? Complex clan system? What generic anime game DOESN'T boast that?

Reason for that is because, I simply didn't think of a 100% original battle system yet.

It seems so much harder to earn respect when you actually try to benifit BYOND or benifit players and create your own projects. All Im trying to do is get a project at least ONE project done.
This is how most of my projects get discontinued, because so many fucking haters, put so much pressure on you even when you make the best of what you can make. I don't understand it, at all.
Like Mesmerise said though, I guess i will find out why. It makes no sense to continue a project if you only have 11 supporters on the forums, and can't even find a loyal programmer...

I'll just sell the base icon then.
I am not trying to discourage you from making your game, but if you're so inclined to quit working on it then that is a problem with your motivation. Most projects like this don't die because of people "hating" on them, but because you spew out all sorts of incredible ideas and announce the coming of THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME (this is not strictly confined to just your game) before you actually have anything presentable.


Also, eleven supporters is a lot.

I find it disappointing, that noone seems to care about what I do. I get most of my respect from being a pixel artist. people don't understand the work i put into it. When ever you do something of your best, and people look at it like..."Wow your shit sucks." how do you think that makes me feel?
