Would it be possible to get a general statistic on some interesting BYOND end user figures for general game development purpose, like Steam handles it?
I think it'd be nice to know if people are running hardware accelerated setting, their screen resolution, RAM, network speed, general CPU speed (maybe even a minor little benchmark test?),BYOND version, IE version, JavaScript settings, Flash version,...
That way one can develop content for the main stream (e.g. decide how likely Flash is supported, or what resolution an interface should carter for).

I've been asking for them to handle things like steam for the longest time now, I don't think a single step has been taken in that direction, but good luck.

Would be neat, but it wouldn't be too easy to get people to participate without baiting them. (See the age poll awhile back)

This wouldn't require anyone's participation. Data would be automatically collected when running BYOND
