The Last Conflict

Descriptive Problem Summary:
When my friend attempts to log in to the game, a blue box appears like normal and it says connecting... but after a second it just disappears and nothing happens. The game works fine for me on my computer (same specs, model, and OS) We've attempted reinstalling Byond, deleting TLC and redownloading it, allowing it through the firewall, and making new accounts. Help?
