Descriptive Problem Summary:
When editing or previewing a post the whitespace is removed. If I edit a post like id:763440 with DM code in it, the whitespace is removed from the code section.
Seems like a side-effect of this.

When I edit a post with code the text in the textarea is ok, but the text shown under the "Original message:" heading still has whitespace stripped.

Fixed that too now. I've basically scaled back that filter now so it's only pulling excess whitespace from the start and end of the file, and from the end of every line.
