So I'm working on a new interface design for S19, nothing too complicated but an improvement on the original design.

Below we have our current layout

And this is the design I'm working on, this whole thing was made in paint so none of the stuff is accurate sized or anything it's just a basic picture to get the feel of it. The Strategy Guide will actually be a html based help file built into the game explaining everything you'll need to know! The rest is pretty obvious and easy to work out.

I stress that the above picture isn't a final representation of the overall design, it's just a basic design to get a feeling across for people to comment on. So, would you guys like an interface like that?
Wow, awesome. But I don't like how the "Sunday The 19th" graphic looks stretched, I'd either increase the window size to the amount that it'd take for it to stop looking stretched or replace the image with a better sized one.
I'd get rid of the huge graphic on the left side entirely. It's just wasted space. Try making the map an actual display resolution rather than a square.
As far as the new interface...

May I suggest looking into developing a Screen-Text system so that you can remove the bottom-middle box which will allow you to move/shrink the left-logo box and place that on the bottom, then stretch/enlarge the map size.

This
..As I said in my post the picture is a mock up I created in paint and none of the sizes are accurate or final.

The stretched image on the left will be replaced by an entirely new fitting image, basically the left side will be an on-screen help file where you can navigate through pages on how to play the game and each mode.

As for the suggestion on making the screen an actual resolution I agree with that and It's something we'll probably look into. Thanks :)
...I'm not saying I DON'T like it, it's just that I find the original one much cleaner and simpler, even if the mockup isn't a final representation.
It looks like it's advanced a lot since I last played. :P
