I think this is one of these features that's either going to be easy to implement (just a boolean and a checkbox somewhere in the Windows DD), or one that should be rejected.

In fact the other route may be more appropriate: if you're on a Linux DD, force you to be logged in with your key somehow. This would authenticate every running server with a BYOND key, and therefore its reputation.
