Uh, these are the strongest cards you can get within the three starter decks, if you haven't noticed I haven't made the third one yet, and they are still in a rather WIP phase. In other words, c+c please lol. And yes, there is a minor influence from YuGiOh, card design wise, but then again, its a WIP, and is not even shaded yet. |

The [Levels/Rank?] is going to be sorta annoying to tell :P

The small bar above, plus there would be an indication within the game, along with the effects of the creatures, since every creature has an effect lol.

C+c, make the Seeker card very very powerful, then name that other card Tru OP. Together those cards become awesome and become Very very OP. <<---
Joking aside, The card border looks a little bland, I'd suggest some kind of standard design for all cards like this: Also, it'd be neat if the creatures were isometric because the forward view looks a little static while most TCGs have action shots of their monsters. Although I can understand why you wouldn't since iso is difficult if your used to the typical common byond angles. |

I disagree with you.. All them designs make it looks ugly to me.

lol, I plan on making other angles, I just simply wanted frontal ones for the main starter cards.

Providing the monsters get a nice background behind them, like I am sure they will, and the 'border' gets more shading since you said these aren't shaded yet... Then they're great. A bit plain for now, but what I just mentioned would change that so awesome.
I really like how the monsters look. |
Looking a lot better, the background for the last card just makes it so much better.
Although I still cant help feel that the sprites themselves feel unfinished, which is probably due to the style of shading you're accustomed to. |
aw giving seeker only 1000 atk :( i demand that it get raised..i really like the giant he looks like he can beat anyone*looks at dark thing* he is the only one that id say its atk should be 1000 while seeker should be 2000 and Kozakh the Giant should be 1900

Lol that Big guy reminds me of Makarov from Fairy Tail except his facial hair and stuff is different. :3

The first two cards look like mugshots and are very boring compared to the third monster that is posing and looks threatening.

Wow, these are coming along nicely. They look so much better than when you first started. The shift in card color helps a lot, and now that all the detail and what not is in they look good.
Once the backgrounds are in they'll look great. |
There's really not enough going on in these cards. The giant guy with the blaze going on behind him is the best looking one as of yet, just because there's more detail in the card.
I'd also suggest not just drawing straight-on shots of the units. Draw them doing stuff, like attacking another creature, or sharpening a sword, or something like that. My main complaint, though, is the lack of detail. The cards are very drab. PS: add a white border to the text. |
