I plan on buying one, and the only games I can think of buying are God of War and Little Big Planet. I have a question to all readers, what are some good PS3 games? Maybe include a bit of info, genre?

God of War Collection, God of War III, infamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1 + 2. I'm sure there's plenty of others.

Blazblue CT & CS. (Arcade, y'know like SF) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. (Side scrolling, beat 'em up. Though this is a PSN game, $9.99) Infamous or upcoming Infamous 2. (Action RPG? Choose your side, good or evil.) Upcoming Dead Rising 2. Demon's Soul. (RPG,heard it was good.) Heavy Rain. (Interactive drama? Nothing actiony, but nice story and concepts.) Uncharted 2. (Action/Adventure.) DC Universe. (MMO) Oh, did I mention the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever! lalala No need for description right? Now, before I finish. inb4 xbox360fanboys, cod fanboys and ff fanboys. So if you're too much of a wuss for hard games I'd stay away from it. Other good ones include Metal Gear Solid 4 (assuming you played the other Metal gear games, then its story is even more silly), Uncharted 1 and 2, the Little Big Planets. As for shooters there's resistance games which are pretty good, and Killzone 2 if that's your cup of tea. I hadn't had the chance to play God of War 3 yet, though the first 2 were good and it's likely the case with that one. Honestly people don't talk about it much though. | |

Assasin Creed was pretty good. The ratchet and clank games are good, but kinda short. Has a good deal of alternate stuff to do if you don't want to beat it to quickly, and even if you do, there's a harder mode where u can lvl up your weapons again.
Oh yeah, Marvel Ulimate alliance. (Kinda old tho) Naruto ultimate ninja storm is a good way to pass time. | |
