Problem description:
Is there a way to run the .dmb file on a computer that hasn't got byond installed on it?
If so, can someone tell me how i am able to achieve this.

No, you need BYOND installed to run the BYOND programs... That includes the DMB file and the programming files such as DM, DMI, DMM, ect.

There have been multiple attempts at creating .exe equivalents of .dmb files, both integrated and standalone.
I do not know what the prominent method is right now, but there most definitely *IS* a way to allow players without BYOND installed to be able to play BYOND games. I do know that the BYOND-integrated methods are likely to require the developer to have a BYOND membership and validated game hub though. Here is one such discussion from earlier this year.
