I have noticed that each time I try to favourite a game the little loading byond atom icon appears to show it is working. But then when it disappears the favourite button is still there rather than the unfavourite button. So I am never sure if the game has been favourited or not.

We will need more details in order to reproduce your issue. Which game were you adding to favorites (we need the hub path or a link to the hub entry, not just the name) and on which page? What exact set of steps did you follow?
