Ok, im just gonna throw this out there since it was clearly out of place in Falacy's Post.
Like i said in the previous post i dont this anything is stopping this it and could really affect BYOND. Most people will judge things by what they see and the current download screen just makes BYOND look less polished than it really is. I think letting developer's customize their download screens might actually make BYOND seem more appealing to possible/future user's.

Seeing as this one has more vots, ill post my opinion here.
If you went with the idea of uploading the image to the hub, from the issue 1493's comments, you could make it that the BYOND loading screen showed up, saying "Loading..." whilst it loaded the custom download file. And then have underneath it the loading bar with BYOND's background, and a BYOND logo in the bottom right corner or something. That way there is a customisation option, but players downloading it still know that the game was created using BYOND's software. |

I second that, if we were able to add our own images to the download screen, for example images of game play for people to see before they play.
