I know I never really used this blog much, but I figured I might as well post one last time before my membership expires.
Just to update everyone on how my game is going, I haven't really been able to work on it much, however, I'm close to finishing the bag system and should have a playable version out before the end of summer.
Note: In case you're wondering why it says _____ Town, it is because I haven't thought of names for the towns yet :P | |||

The Game looks Nice i like the Gfx, So i see you decided a Name did you :)?
I think the people mentioning the house size.. Is pretty much because the person player is not far of the same size of the house and does look slightly un-realistic, even though they are nice houses and good pixel work. I'm guessing there would be more than 3 tiles wide and high inside the building so yes it does come across as small :O | |

The DS games used a 3D environment, so maybe they aren't your best choices. I'd go with the GBA games if I were you, at least for the turfs.
