I have been working on a space based Byond game on and off for a few years now. Originally I created hundreds of original looking spaceships for it, but recently I had a thought. What if you could actually see what your ship was equipped with(Such as type of thruster, type of cockpit, etc..)? It would also provide for more customized looking ships instead of people just flying around with the same types of ships.
So I came up with these easy to overlay spaceship parts..  As you can see there are a handful of examples at the bottom of possible combinations, but there are many other possible combinations and if I created just a single new part that could create another few dozen different combinations of ships as well! I'm also planning on making it so you can change the colour of your ship to add even more customizability. EDIT: Planet test  | |

If I can find a reliable coder that can also host the game(Because my computer doesn't let me host Byond games any more) then it shouldn't take more than a month before a playable beta is released. | |

Sorry at how off-topic this is but, i've recently been working on sorta something like this(Mainly a fast paced space game). Though I leaned it more towards star wars battlefront II's space fights I was thinking of having it some what just a space game.
