There's 5 seperate DBZ games live on the hub just now. By my count, that's at least eight too many.

The answer here is to provide more non-DBZ games that people want to play. How do you figure? Simply whining about the problem doesn't take half as much energy, making it a much more effective solution. Actually, my opinion of DBZ notwithstanding, I've been led to understand that the proliferation of DBZ games mostly goes to one developer who released a demo version of his game, which has been widely used in making clones, to the point where there are several DBZ games listed on the hub which describe themselves as servers for the game, as opposed to separate games. Now, if I'm mistaken in any of this, please correct me, as then I'm just an idiot rambling nonsensically about unimportant matters (actually, I'm an idiot rambling nonsensically about unimportant matters in either case), but having completely separate hub entries for games which are not separate in the least just bugs me a lot. Granted, I know that there's at least several of those DBZ games which at least claim to be original, some or all of which probably are, and that I don't mind too astoundingly much. |

It was me, i make a game, they steal it and "originate" it, but, its basically that my game, dbz mini, was the foundation of all these games poping up, so, if u guys like dbz nn, which uses my tree codes, if nothing else, or db gods, which stole my WHOLE ENTIRE GAME, u have me to thank, and, i am accepting dimes, also, am I allowed to sue or fine the guy who stole my entire game? |

Everybody is throwing together quick DBZ games using the Night Soil combat system(i think this library should be taken down because too many new games are using it and not changing anything to it). I did a real dumb thing by putting a ton of character sets on my webpage that people could use for dbz games. I am going to make a game like Hybrid Heaven after I finish DBZ-Spar. As a matter of fact, when I do Shadow Realms again, I will use a combat system like Hybrid Heaven. Its kinda like a mix between turnbased and action. Its hard to explain. Anyway, I kinda got off track. People are really only gonna play one dbz game, maybe 2. So its pointless to keep making dbz games. |

Anyway, I kinda got off track. People are really only gonna play one dbz game, maybe 2. So its pointless to keep making dbz games. Exactly. Like I always rued from day 1 when Manifacae introduced a wide span of DBZ fans (yes, some of them are productive members (such as yourself), but others are real time-wasters...), I figured that exactly this sort of thing would happen; BYOND would become popularised for DBZ, and it is by no means a DBZ system. For me, I enjoy originality... no offense intended to anyone, but if you can't make your own world and design from scratch, then what separates your game from the countless others? As far as I'm concerned, I'll only give DBZ games maybe a one-time or two-time sampling, unless they're REALLY good. Of course, DBZ-Spar was great, but I'm far from a DBZ fan. =) (Actually, Ebon, I thought DBZ-Spar seemed very original... it uses the DBZ name and characters, but the similarities basically stop there; you can pick and choose how you want to be, and all that jazz. Other games don't, or they try and fail.) |

u have me to thank, and, i am accepting dimes Thank you? Thank you for unleashing this plague upon the world? In case you haven't noticed, we're all COMPLAINING about how many DBZ games there are out there. If you want to take the blame for it, fine. also, am I allowed to sue or fine the guy who stole my entire game? I know this has been said elsewhere... but it's worth saying again. Your game is a rip-off. It doesn't matter if you made all the code and icons for it... DBZ is someone else's copyright. You can't sue someone for stealing something that you ripped off to begin with! That's like going to the police and saying, "My crack dealer sold me fake crack!" (Scarily enough, this happens.) |

dbz mini, was the foundation of all these games poping up, I wish i had a dime. There actually were only 2 games behind yours which probably attracted all these dbz fans, dragonball epic and dbz-spar which dragon ball epic had allot of people post servers (Like one server isn't enough). I say someone delete the extra servers! also, am I allowed to sue or fine the guy who stole my >entire game? Nope, because you did NOT copyright it and further more made it avalible(Hate my spelling) to download and edit it. |

Nope, because you did NOT copyright it and further more made it avalible(Hate my spelling) to download and edit it. Actually, anything you create is automatically your intellectual property. It helps to be able to prove you created it, and that you're reserving all rights for yourself, but just having your name on it can be enough. Still, one juvenile suing another over the code that powers a game based on a big corporation's VERY copyrighted characters and setting isn't likely to go very far in court. :) |

Oh no he's got the chair! It would seriously make a good game lol. |

Uh, I'm not sure what country you're in, but unless they're Robert Downey, Jr, they sure as hell are prosecuted... with mandatory minimum sentences, in many cases. For that matter, decent rehabilitation would be better than the sort of prosecution that minor drug offenders receive.

That's right. We "re-habitate" them.

The answer here is to provide more non-DBZ games that people want to play.
For what it's worth, late last night/early this morning, I think there were 4 games going, only one of which (if any) was DBZ.
And Lexiconomy had 8 players at that time, which was very pleasing to see.
