Actually, the new one doesn't, but the newer community hasn't been flicker-raised. Extremely unfortunate, it is.

(It should have flickering lights, though, Gug! I'm sure that it wouldn't be too difficult to come up with a reasonably lag-free implementation...)

But... but... it does! I can think of at least five places in the game that have 'em. Maybe it's less obvious in this version because I use lazy_eye... wonder if I should set that to 0.

Hmm, I guess the version that I have doesn't have 'em. Unless I'm a heck of a lot less observant than I used to be...

the version i have dose.. but you would have to be VERRY observant to notice the code actually dose something.. its hard for me to find what dose what... i think its really more complicated than meny of the games on the hub or the DBZ almostgames (besides Spar..)
Random crew starting locations. So all those people who always run straight for the flame throwers, shuttle, or airlock will be a little more disoriented and likely to get eaten.

It'd make the game more interesting too since people wouldn't really know where exactly to go to first thing...more fun for critter.

Hmm... not a bad idea! Someone suggested random weapon locations a while back too... that might be good.

SpaceTug, one of the saddest examples of teamwork around!

I think space tug would be awesoem if their could be more than oen alien. When I played with some other guys I always wanted to be the alien, but I was no match for all of them!

Hey, whatever happened to Spuzz's new weapons? I thought those were pretty clever, and added some flair to the game.

BTW, I played it just the other day with little-seen MadHatZero. I think I just got in his way though :)

Also, Random Maps on Space Tug would be cool. Its pretty boring playing on the same ship over and over agian, and a navigation feature would be nice. Let me explain it to u. One person guides the ship towards earth while the other members try to kill the critter. And there is auto pilot, but, the auto pilot doesnt manuver around asteriods (oh yeah, theres asteriods) and it would have a much better plot. Games would last longer.

This would also add a lot more purpose to the half of the ship that's NOT on the direct route to the airlocks or shuttle.

well.. im doing it so you chose what you want to be (Android, marine, human, ext.) and each start in a differant location on the to floor..and the lab (where the aliens start) is on the middle floor.. and the escape pod is on the bottom floor(along with the the cockpit)

its going to be cool.. you HAVE the fight.. there are no easy airlocks.. the ship is so huge youll die of depresurizing before the alien will even get close to the hatch

Hey, whatever happened to Spuzz's new weapons? I thought those were pretty clever, and added some flair to the game.

All of 'em are in a file for FaceHug. So far, the list includes (with the first appearance in parentheses):

VP70 Pistol
- A small hand weapon, weak but good enough as a last resort. (A3)

M41A Pulse Rifle
- Fires 7.62mm caseless High Explosive rounds (A2)

M41A1 Pulse Rifle Grenade Launcher Attachment
- "You don't need to know what that does." "Hey, come on, you said you'd teach me how to use this gun." Need I say more? (A2)

M41A1 Pulse Rifle (with Grenade Launcher)
- The whole kittencaboodle. Er, kit-and-caboodle. (A2)

M56 Smartgun
- The fastest assault weapon available, fires at a cyclic rate of 15000 rounds per minute. (A2)

M240 Flamethrower
- Your traditional flamethrower. (A)

M42A Scope Rifle
- An extremely accurate long-range rifle. May also tie in to the M60 sentry gun to set up remote fire. Has a built in MASAR detection system for determining hostile locations. (A3)

M4A3 Rifle
- A traditional light rifle. (A3)

VP90 Modified Rifle
- An improved version of the M4A3, with an increased range and firepower. (Didn't appear in movies, but was dealt with in comics and novels.)

M5 Rocket Launcher
- I don't think I need to explain it aside from "BOOM". (Novels and comics.)

G50 Shotgun
- A heavy takedown weapon. (Original)

M60 Sentry Gun
- The classic operator-less combat weapon. Caution must be exercised, since once something gets into its vision cone, it dies. Even faster cyclic rate-of-fire than the smartgun (20000 RPM). Manages its rate-of-fire as necessary to avoid overheating. Has limited 250 round magazine.

The shotgun is my own creation, the other ones are taken straight from the movies.

Don't forget the grenades, of course! I have those, too. Can even bounce 'em off the walls. ;-)

BTW, I played it just the other day with little-seen MadHatZero. I think I just got in his way though :)

He's here?! Wow! Maybe I should transfer the say-listen library over to him. You can still transfer hub entries, right?

This would also add a lot more purpose to the half of the ship that's NOT on the direct route to the airlocks or shuttle.

Also, if some people flee in the shuttle and the remaining people on the ship succeed in killing the critter, there should probably be some kind of scathing comment about those who fled.

There should be a scathing comment if they left anyone behind, regardless. Of course, if the critter was already dead, then the comment would be more of a 'you wasted precious resources without cause', yadda yadda yadda. Likewise, blowing up the ship should be extremely discouraged. And if the crewmen were murdered in the process, well... that wouldn't be grounds for a nice, happy comment, would it?

Something such as

The critter is defeated and the ship's passengers are saved! Unfortunately the shuttle hit an asteroid as its occupants panicked and sped away like the gutless little pansies they are (were).
