Im asking someone, an expert perhaps, to over look some of my code, someone like air mapster, spuzzum, or deadron, if they can find the time. Even dan or tom if they are willing.

Im having some troubles with a few things, such as when something dies, and the thing that killed it, like an animal, just sits there until the corpse rots away, im using lots of spawns and stuff.

I also get some errors while using a bow that has a spawn for sound, it says im clicking the turf instead of the mob, and says null.hp, even though i have null checks everywhere.

I also have some problems with saving, sometimes spell books, which is an obj that contains obj's are getting whiped, and someone's inventory got whiped too.

I also have a problem with people downloading my game, it causes so much major lag, i need to somehow host a download server, OR give the rsc file to people. is there any way i can possible make some sort of file for people to download? Where would this file have to go, in which folder? the RSC file is what people mainly need, but since you dont download anything from my hub, you dont get a folder in your myhub directory, which maens i have no clue on where to put the RSC file even if i do give it to people. Its because the game is only shown when its live.

Your help is very much appreciated.
Im looking forward to preventing all of the above things from happening.

Thanks,

Alright, this is really annoying, someone give me direct steps on how i can host my game from dream deamon, and still have it downloadable on a web page. I want it so that the person has to download the game from the site before they can even get to the game where the players are, meaning no lag. I want it so they download from my web site, and so that they dont download from my game. This game is NOT uploaded on the hub, since tom told me i did not need to.

Ebonshadow has a 24/7 server, and that game was packaged as an online link to the 24/7 server. Its hosted on a dedicated server for his game. Eternal World, however, is hosted from my computer, and this method would not work

So how can i do this? once again.....

I have tried hosting through Dream Demon also, but it doesn't show up on games live! for some reason. I would like to allow others to download from my site to.

Maybe when packaging the files checkmark the "Include EXE file" then upload that onto your website or something? Or could you just use the zip file it creates and upload that to the site, then tell everyone to put it under
C:\Program Files\BYOND\users\their name\MyHub\oblivian\pbo
would that work? Then they could run a game without having to download from in-game.

it doesnt show up on games live is because you arent logged in, you have to log onto the game, then you can log out once someone enters.

A mob as to call the world.new or whatever.
basically just start dream seeker, then click open location, and type in the 4 digit port number

after you log in, wait for someone to log in, then you can log out

i dont know why you would want to log out anyways, and i dont see how you guys didnt discover this, since every game i host, i always log right in to it
