Incase youre wondering....that friend is me :) "In" and "case" are two seperate words. "You're" has an apostrophe in it, to denote the missing 'a'. An ellipsis typically only has three periods in it. Two spaces follow a period, and a sentence must be ended by a punctation mark of some sort. To fully correct your sentence: "In case you're wondering... that friend is me. :)" -AbyssDragon |

It's a wonder any of your games work with all those typos!

An ellipsis typically only has three periods in it. Speaking of ellipses, don't you just hate the so-called proper way of using ellipses? I really do . . . . I really do . . . . I absolutely hate that... Three dots for the ellipsis and then a period afterward if the sentence is ended by it... Me, I'm sticking to my own accepted method... thank you very much... |

An ellipsis typically only has three periods in it. I think the three/four rule is just fine, and makes a lot of sense. What bugs me is the above sort of thing where an ellipsis is spaced out for no particular reason. What also bugs me is where some people (I believe they learned this from manga, and these days morons pass it to newbies in chats like a disease) use "..." all by itself, as if it has some inherent meaning. While to them it does have meaning, indicating a pregnant pause or a flabbergasted response, it's still idiotic next to using actual words to describe the same thing. Lummox JR |

No, what's really bad is when they shout "..." in a RPG. How can you shout a pause? :-) |

I watch DBZ all the time and I get pissed off if I miss it, but I agree, the games here are sometimes just not fun... The key to making a good DBZ game is to make one that isn't just based around:
Train Go SSJ Brag about your strength Kill Brag Kill Brag Most DBZ games on BYOND end up like that, the key to a good DBZ game is to add a huge RPG factor to it... Make it not so boring. -Raven |

There are currently 82 dbz games listed on the hub. Let me repeat that... There are currently 82 dbz games listed on the hub. Original games are drowning in a sea of homogeny and mediocrity. For god's sake, stop the madness!!! Who knows how many hundreds more dbz games are in production, and aren't even on the hub yet. We just don't need any more! Do yourself and everyone else a favor, trash your files, and start on something original. |

I think the reason so many DBZ games are based on it, is because in my opinion that is what DBZ is. You see some people who start out weak, who battle thousands of different people, and get stronger each time, achieving nothing but cheap humor and 300 "powerlevel" every episode. They do nothing but fight and the series is largely based around it, and so the people making games based on DBZ are copying that too.
Just my 2c anyways, Alathon |
