Ok.....this is really odd...I just loaded up dreamseeker, hosted a game of tanks, about 25 min's into the game..dreamseeker, gives me an illeagle op. I figured I'd have to restart my computer...so I did..and now, everytime I load dreamseeker up, it gives me an illeagle op.. why is this? If you know the answer and/or solution to this problem, I would be greatly appreciated.

dream creeper is a program that dan and tom let me make, its a modification of the dream seeker program
so far it doesnt really do much of anything. but eventually it will support skins for games. the main reason im doing it is just to see all what i can add to the byond system with the availabe things they have now. FIREking |
[Edit]
I just thought of the probably cause of your problem. Try moving the file Byond/users/you/cache/byond.rsc to another location and then boot up Dream Seeker. If that turns out to fix your problem, please zip that file and email it to [email protected]. We've had reports of this before, but we have never been able to reproduce it in our own test environment, so this could be very helpful. [End Edit] Hmm. We just happen to have had our hub server reboot at around the time you were having trouble. I don't suppose it is working now? If so, there is something very wrong, because the client should not simply crash when the hub is down. If it has not magically started to work, you might want to try doing a clean installation. Go to Download and install that. Sorry you're having trouble. Software should not just suddeonly stop working (and even after you reboot your machine!). Something must have changed the state of your computer, which either means something in the windows registry or the hard-drive. A fresh installation should restore the things that BYOND depends on unless there is something really wrong and parts of the OS got corrupted. Were you using any other software at the time? --Dan |

do you think it would be too hard to write a program that makes api calls to the dream seeker menu's and such? as well as changing its colors through api calls? seems like the reasonable thing to do.
i could give the program web compatibility, where you can download skins for it straight from the program, sound good? FIREking p.s. i dont think its too hard to put an image on a window with an api call is it? |

p.s. NEVER put Dream creeper in the C:\program files\byond\bin folder, it runs off of its own folder that you unzip it to!
