anyway to lock icons with password?

hey i was wondering, this would be cool....but can you lock icons in the selection menu with a password?
never seen it done thats why im asking, and i wont be asking these questions next week cause im gonna order the Book of Code (Blue Book). cant wait.
NEwayz, if you can lock them with a password, please help me out.
