Who likes random combat sytems better than Button fights?

:( that make me feal bad kuz i just made a game that was turn based, what about maps, do you like open maps were you are always one size(like Zelda), or were you leave a town and you see the town as a small icon(Like DWO of FF1-9)?

zelda was a great game. But people love DWO a lot so i though if my game had a simular combat system than it would rule more kuz people always love my games.

If there's one thing I don't like, it's when scale is exaggerated on an overworld map, so you can walk across one town in the same amount of time it takes to walk to the next town entirely. well see maps like that, they look good when i make them, but when i make regular maps they suck. Take bust-a-hit for exsample. It was a great game but the map sucked. It was like it was only 1 town. Plus it saves a lot of space on the map. But the basics on my'n are the same, you can still run into shops without it warping you and many othere things. Its jst large towns. The distances are about the same on my game. Its not like there are 50 towns in a row. I have cave system to get to some and rivers to get to others. So it is your (that word you used) if you dont like them but my'n is barly like one but it is just that towns are seen as icons.

Deadron,I was talking about it for RPGs, like FF, I will never like these games. And a lot of people like DW? More people like Zelda, and that has to be a fact. Nintendo is the number 1 company targeted for piracy.

My Sega Gamegear smoked!!!!! Not finally Nintendo got around to putting out a GameBoy Advance, while I had been enjoying color graphics on my Sega Gamegear. Only thing about Nintendo... what ever happen to their Power Gloves?? And why didn't they upgrade their VR goggles?? They should pusht those items too! Sega had some awesome VR goggles, but trying to get some is next to impossiable as they never did release them really.
