i think you need to stop being to textbook you know if someone uses big words it makes them less intelligent than someone who can use smaller ones and get the same meaning

I'm not an admin, nor do I kiss up to them... nor do I ask for anyone to be banned. When the subject of banning comes up, I argue in favor of wastes of space like you and VyseDyne, because I'm not a big fan of banning.
My method of dealing with people who are behaving inappropriately is to explain to them how and why their behavior is inappropriate. They respond in one of two ways: they either improve their behavior, or they make an even bigger ass of themselves until it's impossible for the board moderators to ignore them. If someone gets banned in the later case, they've got no one to blame but themselves. | |

First of all, Lummox is not my friend. He is my colleague. He is my peer. I happen to agree with him on a few matters of forum conduct and absolutely nothing else. In personal life, I would probably dislike him only a little less than I do you. Why? Because his views on many things offend me. He states them as views, though, not jokes in order to provoke a response.
And a thing being a joke doesn't make it less offensive... the quiz is a joke based on offensive premises. | |
