Sorry if I'm a bit too "conservative" for some of you folks out there but I think I'm entitled to my own oppinion as well.

Porn-O-Rama by Huptut
I am not responisble for any of your actions. Just a legal notice so i dont get in trouble :) ...........oh yes its a game about porn also lol

Your little legal bit doesn't seem to include your little animated crap on the side apparently. I may be mistaken but long ago in the days of DUNG, I recall something to the effect of "please create a world that is suitable for all audience, or at least give some sort of warning beforehand". This wouldn't be so much of a problem if you didn't have the animation so boldly placed on the hub there. Know that you have been added to my "people to loathe in every way imaginable" list.

Yes, it will be most interesting to see how this is played out here at BYOND. I wonder what Dantom will do about it?? Considering the majority of people here are under age to begin with.

This is hardly the conservative opinion, I think; everyone's pretty much agreed that no matter what else, Huptut's putting up that animation as the icon for his game is apalling. Most so far are of the opinion that the content of the game is indeed his own business, so long as he warns people about it, but that the nudity belongs inside the game, not in the Games Live! listing. I've made some suggestions of my own for how to deal with that; I too am curious to see what Dantom choose to do about it.

In the meantime, Huptut just went on my pager ban list. I could never stand the buttwipe from when I first saw him in a game of Bombard, but this puts him over the edge for me. Screw him--whatever happens to him at this point, he brought it on himself.

And all the DBZers' keyboards are pooling with saliva from their owners drooling mouths.

Exactly. Unless Dantom turns out to be secretly headed by Larry Flint, they'll probably move to get this off the Games Live! page.

My proposed solution: only games accepted to an official BYOND channel get an icon in the Games Live! listing. This way, it doesn't take any extra moderation, but merely uses whats already in place.

This almost seems a shame, but I don't know if there's a better solution at present. I'd personally prefer the existing system for a while, if it was pretty reasonable to assume this wouldn't happen again--which would mean nailing Huptut to the wall as a warning to the slightly less obnoxious. (Having seen him in games, I'm convinced he's right around as bad as it gets.)

One thing I'm convinced of, though: Politely asking him to change the images or remove the hub entry isn't enough. He has to be beaten (figuratively) for this. From what I've seen of Huptut, he did this because he probably thought it was a funny joke to shock people; now it's time to make him stop laughing.

In retrospect, my proposal might not work so great. I was thinking that eventually, most games will be in a channel and won't have to worry about it. I didn't, however, consider alpha and beta games which aren't allowed in the main channels. I think it would be unfair to those games if they can't have icons in the Live listing. Hmmm...

Perhaps the only solution is an ad hoc one--just get rid of them as they come.

I think huptut did this just to get known are what lummox said he just wanted a good laugh.I dont think we should let him get away with it if we dont he will just do it again.
