Since alternative operating systems like Linux and FreeBSD would most likely refuse to incorporate government policeware into their code, users of these open-source systems would also be eligible for hard time.

damn.. thats what the policeware is gonna do? Pfft!

now im on your side! people were saying it trampled their rights but never said anything like this! damn!

if that passes many will be revolting. prisons would overflow and america would collapse.
next time Dareb, PLEASE, and this is a request, not a flame, do not tell me I did not read the article clearly enough and did not understand what policeware is for when you didn't even read the full article. Especially when I was the one who posted the original post on policeware.

PLEASE PEOPLE:

Sign this petiton, but only if you are an american... Our Digital freedoms could be at stake if this bill manages to pass...

unfortunately im canadian.. it appears as though that bill is made entirely for the benefit of windows and media related to windows.

If that bill passes unix and other open ended OS's will be illigalized now that more than anything is enough to encourage all american citizens to vote against it.

I signed it, i agree that it is not right for the govenment to be in our life 24-7 unless we are known crimanals or something to that effect. And for most people who dont disconnect there web cam, the govenment would know alot more about there private life than they want anyone to know, its almost as bad as having a chip in your hand.

it's still in your hand if you are holding it, you meant to say inside, and I think it would be better to surgically implant the chip in your head, I've cut open my hand to get a sliver of glass out of it before, why would that be any different?
In response to Ter13
well, i say that because the most comon way i have heard of the mark of the beast is reffed to a computer chip implaned on the back of your hand.

Explosives. Need I say more?

I prefer the sci-fi approach, a tracking device in your head that keeps your position, and a bar code on your neck.

just shove a vibrator-looking device up your nose, press the button hear a crunch and pull it out. and then give yourself a curbie
