Pc Problems

my sound won't work. It has been like this since my PC has been reinstalled. This is preventing me from making good RPG's. I've done everything. I've installed and reinstalld Drivers. Ive even reinstalled my computer nothing works so could you please give me suggestions. If this was put in the wrong Topic Sorry.

Here goes another one of my futile attempts to help someone.

Are you sure that the sound card is connected completely to the motherboard?

Are you sure you have the speaker cord connected in the correct sound card jack?

Check and see if the Volume Control is in your taskbar.

When all else fails, get professional help.

No Volume Control in Task bar Yes cound card and cord are plugged in. Sound was working fine then we installed Cable Modem. PC wasn't working right so we reinstall and sound wouldn't work. The sound worked before reinstallation. Quick Restore disk had been used before and it worked and the disk was not damaged.

My entire PC. With the Quick Restore Disks My PC came with.
