I actually have 56k. Im known to download 50-200 meg files. And i use about 500 meg daily on the net.

I have 56k too. Unfortunately, my parents only got a 100MB plan, AND it's time limited! >( Still, I should be getting cable next week, so I'm not too unhappy about it. :) | |
My net has unlimited time and download. Its 70$ per 3 months. We have two phone lines which is really cool!

I assume you live in the US? Over here in Australia we get outrageously high prices for any kind of internet access. Dial-up isn't too bad, but cable and DSL are WAAAY too expensive.
The only reason we're getting cable is because it comes packaged with cheaper phone costs - we've worked out that we'd actually be spending the same if we got the package. The phone actually goes over the cable instead of normal telephone lines - freaky. :) Luckily it doesn't interfere with internet surfing, so you can still browse the web and talk on the phone at the same time. | |

I have cable, booyah, but thats besides the point. I too an unlimited. But my IP keeps changing because i keep losing connection, make it hard to host a site. If you want a big download try US army ops, im not sure the site but its not hard to find.
