Cool. Good move blurring your list like that. Very nice looking setup. Whos the girl in the background picture? Or did you cover that up for a reason?

My pics.
http://polatrite.freewebspace.com/pics.htm The first one is my desktop, the second is the TTS2 title screen. The third and fourth are me. This is the first time I've ever posted pictures of myself online publicly, too :P. |

Nadrew wrote: I tried out LiteStep 3 years ago on my NT system at work and had mixed results with it; its themes were a bit disorganized and often as not didn't work right. But I liked its potential. I tried to get to it again recently but the servers are apparently in massive disarray. It's available on a very very slow server and it seems the group working on it has splintered. What's everyone using for shell replacements these days anyway? Are there good ones out there? Lummox JR |

Doesn't work unless you cut n paste it into your address bar. Thank you ProHosting. |

That's my main machine at home, which is more or less the same today. There's also the older Mac, the iBook (similar to the above), the NT machine at work, and the SGI at work. But they are far less interesting from a purely visual standpoint. Posting my desktop makes me feel so l33t. |
He he mine is so basic, with a costom background that will be soon found at my site(www.scooberthosting.com) but i will still show you it.

Yeah, the LiteStep community seems to be all wacky now. I don't know what happened to it. I was able to find a decent download of it somewhere not too long ago, though.
I'm a big fan of it, though. My experience has been that it's more stable than explorer, and if you pick the right modules, more functional*. I try to avoid themes, because those are handled in a nonsensical manner. Half of the LS themes are installations of LS themselves with theme files included, and the other half are themes you have to setup into it yourself. They're just hard to use. *For example, that little bar at the top of the screen that displays the current song in Winamp doubles as a command line. It's perfect for simple commands. -AbyssDragon |

It's a bunch of poems my girlfriend has written.. it doesn't read as much allruntogether, but you can get little fragments of meaning here and there.
You can see the rest of the picture at http://www.molotov.nu/?page=files -AbyssDragon |

I made the background.. it was originally created just as a concept-type thing, but I liked it enough to keep it.

Bacically its Windows 2000, with black everything, and a picture of a Starcraft Infested Marine, the Starcraft site has the best desktops. Also its at 1280x1024 res.
All the icons are sorted. All in all, it looks pretty good.
