Don't people see how many there already are? Why do people continue to make DBZ games when its the same thing over and over? People have exuasted the genre of all of its originality. When i first watched the show, so many years ago i thought it was the most original thing since glass peanut butter bear containers. :P Now after i've seen the same thing over and over its getting lame. Newbie coders are going to new measures though, at least some try for originality. Some mix DBZ with Final fantasy or Ctrigger or something along those lines. But its still mostly the same. !!!!!GET SOME ORIGINALITY PEOPLE!!!!! :P |

HEY! I'm making a dbz game right now (DO NOT FLAME ME FOR SAYING THAT) and I am making it origanal. It may have the same story as others but it will not be a rip! I am coding it myself.

It sounds like it's origional because he's coding it. I bet thats what the 20-odd other DBZ writers said, to! :-P
People should make Final Fanatsy games, anyway. Final Fantasy rocks, no matter how many Vs, Xs and Is you put after it. |

The word "original" doesn't mean "coded by me". It means to make something that isn't based off something else. If you're making a DBZ game, it's obviously based on DBZ, and therefore not original.

Have you noticed how many people say they're making an "origanal" or "origional" or "origonal" or whatever game, yet few of them spell "original" correctly.
Im so sorry if i said the "Idea' was origanal! I ment I will not be ripping anyones code and I will code the DBZ game myself. The Code will be the "origanal" part
Because they want their game to be, "like this, only BETTER!" Or, "like this, only with this!" But, of course, they never get past the comma.
Do you really not have the time to actually type out the full words (lol is okay, but it should be capitalized), use proper punctuation, and capitalization, in a forum? I'm pretty sure you're not being held at gun-point and will be killed if you don't finish your post in 5 seconds, so take your time to at least capitalize your sentances and end them with a period.
If it's "your own," then why are you illegally using a copyright? I'll drop this topic the moment you can show me permission from FUNimation to use their copyright for a fan game.
Okay then you knoiw what it wont be a DBZ Game it will be a ZBD Game instead, Im pretty sure that isnt copyrighted and such!
I got it! Taking the word apart, we have "ori" "g" "anal." "Ori" is obviously short of "oriental," which I guess could mean Japanese. G must mean game, and anal speaks for itself. It all makes sense now!
It's the idea that's copyrighted, not the name. The name is trademarked. I'm pretty sure, "But the name of my game is backwards!" won't stand up very long in court.
If FUNimation saw all the quote-unquote "Original" DBZ Games on BYOND, they would completely flip, yes? Heheh.
"HOLY CRAP! THERE'S HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT RIPPED DRAGON BALL Z ON BYOND?!" :P |
