I'm getting my first job at McDonald's. And I'm going to an interview tommorow.... Any tips on what I should and shouldn't do? And what are some of the questions they might ask me and what do I respond with?

I got the job! All I had to do was mention about BYOND and how I make games and put them online, and that I have knowlodge as a computer programmer, and I got the job! Well, that won it for me. I start on Tuesday at 5:30.
Thank you BYOND, you helped me get my first job! |

I had to get a job within about a month of turning 16 (I was a stockboy at a local supermarket -- white shirt, dark slacks, and a bright red apron). Though it ate up a lot of time in the evenings, it was a good experience, all in all. But later, when I'd come home from college for a weekend, I never wanted to shop at that store... Anyway, good luck! |
Yeah, programming gets you a job pretty easily these days, even when programming has nothing to do with what you're doing. I told my manager at work when I was being hired that I was a computer nut that makes games and I was hired without an interview. =P

Congrats...
Now that you're an employee of Mickey D's...just remember this following quote: "I dunno which is worse... Actually trying for employee of the month at McDonald's, or never actually making it..." lol |
A lifeguard at 15? Are you strong enough to haul unconscious bodies from the water? I would think they'd only let people who are physically capable of doing this or something similar become a lifeguard...
But you may be strong enough... There's no way for me to tell...lol I just don't think that I was strong enough at 15 to drag a large amount of dead weight out of a pool or onto a beach... |
I am 18 and still unemployed with no previous work expirence, thanks for making me feel better guys.
