This is mostly for deciding what screen size to go with. My resolution is 1024x768. What's yours?

Why don't you use Zpoll instead of taking up precious space on Dantom's server.
BTW, mine is 600x800. A view of 6 is ideal. |

Well, I used to have 800x600, which is the lowest denominator I would recomend designing for, a view of 6 is best. Now I tend to go with a standard 1024x768, like most people, but I can go up to 1200x1024, which makes things look really small.

Feel the power of 1152x864. I do! I do! I've got three graphics cards in this machine, the center 17" screen uses 1152x864, the right 15" uses 800x600 (often still the standard for webpage design, although it is steadily being replaced by 1024x768), and the left 14" is an old Philips that can only do 640x480 - so I use it for monitoring the DreamDaemon, Winamp, and other small-window programs. |

My display adapter allows for 1600x1200, but, alas, my monitor does not. It makes a high-pitched death-scream, and goes all wacky. The best the monitor can handle is 1200x1024, which is too large for my tastes anywyas.

I see nobody has experienced the One True Resolution of I have, on our 42" tv, but I can't leave the computer connected to that all the time... does look good though! |

1024x768 here :P

I use 1024x768 on a 21" 19.7" viewable monitor, any larger a resolution and my half blind-ass cant read the icon names.

800x600 all the way for me...
Anything larger makes everything look way too small to me... |

Must be a pretty weak monitor. Mine is decently old and can go 1600x1200.
