I just want to know if it's worth it. Like is this site gonna be hosted for a long time? I don't want to pay 25 bucks and then find out I've wasted my money cause they shut the site down. And I'm hoping the book explains things so I can understand them(I'm a beginner....and i don't understand anything). Thanks in advance for answering.

Im not sure if you realise or not, but a few people make this mistake. The Blue Book isn't a online book. Its a real book sent to your house.

Plus, even if this site goes down, as long as you've got the program, you can continue to make games... You can contin ue to have players in your games by putting the installation files up on a website along with your games and spread BYOND "underground"... This site is only a convenience, basically... Not crucial to BYOND itself... (granted, if it were to go down, it would put a major damper on things, but people could still go on making, and playing games with the software they've downloaded)
And as for the Blue Book, I can honestly say that everything I know of the DM language I learned from reading the Blue Book... The book explains everything step by step in layman's terms, along with plenty of examples along the way... Much easier to learn from than what the site offers... Instead of just listing the commands, it tells you how to use them...
It also throws in a good deal of humor... You'll love the footnotes...lol
So in a nutshell, yes, the Blue Book is definitely worth it...
