I saw my baby for the first time today, no bigger than a thumb.
It was awake at the time of the ultrasound and recording so thats an added bonus watching as it moves around, grabbing and kicking.
There is no way to describe the way I felt when I saw that cute little thing move around, I just want to hold it fully developed in my hands right now, I can already picture it.
Im thinking of keeping a video library of everything on tape, then scanning the tapes with some kind of computer program and make a copy to disc.
Make a family website.
This isnt an invitation for all you boys to get your girlfriends pregnant though, this is a serious responsibility, same with you woman out there ;)
I dont even know what to do now, my mind is completely focused on the Ultrasound.

Congratulations Dareb. I am happy for you and I hope everything goes well, as raising a child takes a great deal of responsibility and it would help if you kept a sign of imagination.
But I now have to ask this as I am unsure, would you be a male or a female? And I mean no offense by this question. (When ever a woman is having a baby, the guy always talks in the sense that he is experiencing it directly also, so the terms used usually are misleading.) And good luck. Well that is good to know for the sake of argument, but my question to you would be; Why do you have to look down to confirm your gender? Are you usually unsure about this or are you hoping to one-day become the opposite sex? :-)
You might have some psychological insecurities or difficulties that may result in your need to confirm your gender to yourself, I suggest either seeing a shrink or violently hitting yourself in the head with a wiffle-ball bat until you are cured.
